Tamara will be on the panel at the Women Mean Business event ‘All Shapes and Sizes’
“My business is called Catalyst by Tamara Joseph and I am proprietor and head
designer/maker. My business launched 2010 when I was selected by a panel for
a business placement 1 year course, while study for my Masters degree.
S.P.E.E.D WM (Student Placement Entrepreneur in Education West Midlands),
funded my new business launch. I set up my own website
http://www.tamarajoseph.co.uk, brought business cards and various equipment to get
me started professionally.
Within the 6 months I showcased at 5 fashion shows, one being with ITV
Fixers, I soon become a regular face to the local fashion industry and
networking was getting me some really good connections.
In 2011 I was fortunate enough to showcase at the biggest fashion event in
the UK, London Fashion week. Many opportunities aroused after this and I was
invited to more and more events. In 2012 my partner and I were invited to
Maryland fashion week after taking part in a London based show, where the
judges saw my potential, even though I had not won.
The one thing I love about my business is it just keeps on growing and
nothing any longer surprises me what we are doing next. This year I have
started my new 2014 Collection and am getting excited about flying out to the
U.S.A for this year’s New York fashion week.
Catalyst by Tamara Joseph sells through ASOS, SilkFred and of course orders
can be made from my own website http://www.tamarajoseph.co.uk or by
